LGs software managed to bring out 95% of the possibilities of it's hardware when it comes to getting an amazing photo, while the Pro struggles to sort out all it's modes and cameras to make them cooperate and discover the best focus, color and light focusing. I had the LG G4 for about 3 years, so it's a massive letdown that the "innovative" new software of the P20Pro struggles to make the experience as reliable as my "old" phones camera provided me with.
My LG g4 always took AMAZING photos (16MP), even while i ACTIVELY shaked the phone due to its stabilization.
I really do hope Huawei comes out with a software option for us Africans that DOESN'T want the phone to juggle with 10 filters at once, and just provide us with a one-click option to choose which position/lighting to focus on.
What my eyes captures is what i want the phone to capture and show on the screen. I tried taking some photos of an amazing place in the forest the other day, and no matter where i clicked - the phone made a mess out of all the branches being hit by sunlight, and the bushes behind them weren't even green anymore when i viewed it through my phone. Absolute garbage photos compared to what my LG g4 managed to produce.
