Some of our traditional foods to try are a typical South African braai (barbeque), wors (sausage), biltong (dried meat, preferably moist beef), samoosas, milk tart, koeksisters and rooibos tea. Be sure to visit The Pot Luck Club, The Test Kitchen, Kyoto Garden Sushi and the South China Dim Sum Bar restaurants. Don’t leave without visiting Mzoli's in Guguletu township, The Old Biscuit Mill market in Woodstock, the St George’s Street market in town and The Waterfront. I’m sure other South Africans can think of a lot of other hidden gems and great street food in and around our city. Besides our multicultural food, Cape Town’s scenery is breath-taking. Enjoy Chapmans Peak drive, Hout Bay, the many wine routes and the beaches. We are having a lovely wet Winter with lots of rain and are looking forward to Summer.
