Nikon 55-300 vs 70-300 - which one of these would you guys recommend?

I am a freelance photographer and I get projects to work on. I am a student as well so my budget is quite tight. I currently own a Nikon D5200 with the 18-55mm kit lens and 35mm f/1.8G prime. I mostly use the 35mm and it serves me well in street and portrait photography. But I am in need of a good versatile zoom lens in which i can get descent bokeh effect. I am really confused between 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G and 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G. I don't mind switching 18-55mm and 55-300mm according to the situation. Image quality and Sharpness is all that I care of.
