the sound on the mini actually sounds alot clearer tbh The google home mini is probably one of the best things to buy right now while sales are on well worth the money
The new power plug for the new Dot is a negative. I have a USB A splitter to 2 mini USB to power both the Echo Dot and Google Mini powered by my digital alarm clock.
I have Amazon Dot and I absolutely hate it. It doesn’t seem to understand half of what my Google Home does. I’m definitely going to buy the mini to replace the hockey puck Amazong Dot.
i just bought one but little did i know which is actually a huge issue that would face quite a lot of people...IT DOES NOT WORK ON WPA2 ENTERPRISE!!!! so many people live in flats that have a shared wifi in the building or dorm rooms that require username and log in. i am currently using it on tethered hotspot from my phone. its very annoying! i have no idea why google did this.
I really wish that companies would add an internal battery so you can unplug and take it with you around your home. It's a small feature to add but something so useful IMO.
I don't use that to play music as I've got a pair of fabulous speakers. I guess it would be super fantastic if I can wire it up with my speakers! - oh why can't they add a microphone and a brain to the Chromecast audio to make it into reality?
