I tried Google Screen Call function, pretty cool

With every new innovation feels like Skynet is inevitable.

I really hope this will be rolled out an a feature to android devices in the future. Assuming that its attached to Google assistant, it most likely will be rolled out to all devices eventually, definitely a step in the right direction.

That's amazing. BUT without some customization, I don't think I'll be using it. I run a small business in Lagos,Nigeria and get a lot of spam calls because my number is easy to find so this would be perfect, but I can't risk actual potential clients being confused and put off by it. If I could simply have it read something I edit like, "Hi, [Business Name] is screening calls..." it would work. Then my clients would know they got the right number. Hopefully that is an option soon.

The only thing it needs is a dark mode

Good to avoid those pesky insurance agents and/or telemarketers.

Absolutely brilliant way to get more DATA from the user in the form of calls

Are all this safely stored on the phone or does it get uploaded to Google? I feel like some of their services are kinda intrusive and even though they are a giant company, collecting personal data is still their main business model and I don't feel comfortable having someone sifting through my personal stuffs.

I plan on hitting the "tell me more" option at least 15 times with spam callers. I. Cannot. Wait.

Yes my very own annoying hotline. Just the music is missing. Whats to special about it? It's basically an interactive voice mail with speech recognition. I think it would be really annoying for the other side the same way hotlines are. There are probably not many occasions when it's useful. Maybe in a meeting or in a lecture. But you can probably tell from the caller whether it's important. If its a friend just call back later or send a quick text. If it's your boss you certainly wouldn't want to use Screen Call.

If you really are in the meeting or doing some important thing then you wont be able to hold your phone at all to do this.
